TripFinder

Mobile Design
Find your next holidays’ destination,
depending on your favourite outdoor activities
and the season of the year.

Who is Nikki?

For a week, I designed an app for one user only: Nikki

Nikki comes from Greece, she has been living in London for 5 years and a half.
She hates gym but she loves outdoor activities, especially in nature,
far away from crowded cities.

Her favourite activities are trekking, rowing, kayaking, canoeing, hiking
and photography. For her last holiday, she traveled to Austria and it took her
2 weeks to book the perfect trip, based on her favourite activities.

The brief

1 week sprint UX concept project: Mobile app design from scratch, using some UX tools
such as concept mapping, storyboard, user flow, paper prototypes…

1 week sprint UI concept project: Visual design for Trip Finder, thanks too brand affinities,
brand position, personality traits, style guide…

Problem

Design a MVP for a single user: find an idea among one of my user’s hobbies
and create an app from scratch, then design the visual design accordingly.

Outcomes

Nikki was happy with her app, especially with the final visual design
that was reflecting her personality: freshness and simplicity.
